2017 SWMJGT TOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS

OLD WORKS GOLF COURSE

Congratulations all on another great SWMJGT Tour season!

Our final tournament of the season, The Old Works Championships, will be held this coming Monday at Old Works Golf Course in Anaconda.  Not only will we be awarding medals to the winners in all 6 divisions for this tournament, but we will crown SWMJGT Tour Champions for 2017 and award them Tour hardware as well.

As in past years, a Modified Tee Time format will be used where we tee off on both #1 and #10 tees respectively beginning at 8:00am (we will post tee times this weekend).  Please make sure to know your tee times and be at the course at least 1 hour in advance.  There will be complimentary range balls on the beautiful Old Works Driving Range and they sport impressive practice areas for your short games as well.  So come early and get ready for a great day on Montana's premier golf course!

As per the rules of the SWMJGT, all players MUST compete in a minimum of 5 of the first 8 tournaments to qualify for the Old Works Championships.  That is the ONLY qualification as tour rank or low scores alone do not get you qualified to play in this final tournament.  So for those of you who did not compete in at least 5 tournaments, we thank you for participating on this year's Tour and hope to see you next year.  (there is a list of tour players, their current division ranking and their qualifying number of tournaments below so you can check your qualification status).

REMEMBER: WE SCORE WITH DOUBLE POINTS FOR THE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS, SO MANY PLAYERS ARE VYING FOR THEIR DIVISION'S CHAMPIONSHIP!

Following tournament play, we will host our season ending SWMJGT Awards Banquet.  We will be awarding hardware, scholarships and all players will receive a great lunch...

That’s Italian Buffet - Meat Lasagna, Chicken Penne’ Alfredo with Creamy Mushroom Sauce...Crisp Italian Salad or Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons...Fresh Baked Rolls with Butter...Homemade Cookies & Bars.  (For any parents, siblings or guests who would like to partake, Chef Pete is only charging a $15.95 per guest fee).

If you have any questions, please contact Lee LaBreche, Tournament Director, at (406) 498-0091.

Thank you again for making this, our 10th SWMJGT Season, a major success!

Bob Wengel, Chairman, Founder, BJGF & SWMJGT
